Message from the Principal
Welcome to Iron Forge Elementary!
Iron Forge welcomes all third, fourth and fifth grade students and their families who reside in the South Middleton School District. We are excited to have you and look forward to sharing all the great things that happen here. As with every school year, we have a lot of learning and growing to do together.
The staff at IFES, and I, are dedicated to working with students and their families as a team so that each child has the opportunity to perform to his/her greatest potential. Together, we will strive to create a safe learning environment in which this can happen.
I encourage you, the families of IFES, to be as involved in this educational journey as possible, as your support is extremely important to your child’s success.
We are lucky to have an active PTO that serves all elementary students (Grades K – 5), by sponsoring activities for our students and their families. The PTO also generously provides financial support when needed for things like classroom activities and field trips. The PTO is a great way to get involved and in-the-know about what’s going on at school.
I welcome the opportunity to tell you more about all the wonderful things going on here at IFES. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information or have questions.
I look forward to a safe, healthy, and successful school year for all of our students!
Mrs. Trisha Reed, Principal
